About us
Sterling Master Builders is a Paarl construction company with more than 13 years of hands on experience in residential and commercial building. We do new builds, renovations, alterations and heritage restoration across the Cape Winelands, for private clients and on tender.
Where we come from
Built from the site up
This company was not started in a boardroom. It was started on site, after years of managing builds for other people and seeing exactly where projects go right and where they go wrong.
That experience shapes how we work today. We price honestly, we plan properly before breaking ground, and we stay close to the work every day it runs. When we hand over a building, we want to be proud to drive past it for the next thirty years.
I spent six years as a site manager and seven as a project manager before starting Sterling. I have stood on every side of a building project. That is why we run ours the way we do.

How we work
From first call to handover
Every project follows the same straightforward process, whether it is a bathroom alteration or a commercial build.
Brief and costing
We meet, walk the site or the plans, and put together a detailed, itemised estimate. No vague allowances and no surprises later.
Planning
We coordinate with your architect and engineer, confirm approvals, lock the programme and order long lead items early.
Construction
A managed site with daily supervision, weekly progress updates and quality checks at every stage of the build.
Handover
A clean, snag free handover with all certificates and paperwork in order, and a builder who still answers the phone afterwards.
What you can expect
Straight answers, proper work
We build to the National Building Regulations and work with registered professionals on plans, engineering and approvals. We are NHBRC registered, members of MBA Boland and the Building Industry Bargaining Council (BIBC), and insured through FEM. Costing and tendering is a core strength, so budgets are realistic from day one and managed all the way through.
Most of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients. In this trade, that is the only marketing that means anything.
